Short Term / Trial Term Coverage

Whether you are sending your horse to a potential buyer for a trial or are about to take possession of a horse on a trial period, it is strongly recommended both seller and prospective buyer discuss insurance expectations prior to the transaction. A Short-Term policy can save an enormous amount of heartache and potential liability for both parties in the unfortunate event the horse becomes ill or sustains an injury during the trial period. Depending on the situation, a Short-Term Horse Insurance premium purchased by the prospective buyer can often be applied towards an annual policy once the sale is finalized after the trial period.

Minimum premium of $200 applies
